Returns Policy

We really hope you love the items you order from the This Mum Runs shop however we do understand that sometimes you might want to return an item. Please take a look at the details below to understand what to do if you have an item you wish to return.

If you have an item with an item code starting with 'PH', 'PS', 'PKH' or PTT' these are items printed especially for each order which means these items are non-refundable (unless in the case of a fault).

If the product code for your item starts with an ‘L’ you can return these items by following the steps below.

Where do I find my product code?
You will find your product code or SKU on your order confirmation email.

How do I return an item with a product code starting with ‘L’?
Items with a product code starting with L; this could be a running tee (short sleeve or high vis long sleeve) a running vest, leggings, one of our accessories (headsocks, mugs or totebags) or selected clearance sweatshirts and hoodies, can be returned for a refund or exchange by sending the item(s), in their original packaging with the Packing Slip enclosed to the following address within 30 days of receipt:

The item must be in its original condition and returned within 30 days to qualify for a no quibble exchange/refund.

There are certain situations where no or only partial refunds are granted including:

  • Any item not in its original condition or packaging, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Bespoke items with a product code (SKU) starting with a ‘PH’, 'PS', 'PKH' or 'PTT'.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Please note that Gift cards cannot be returned.

Once your refund is approved and processed, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 10 working days.

If you need an exchange please list the size/style wanted on the Packing Slip you received with your original order. If you request an exchange and the item/s you request aren’t available we will automatically process a refund, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 working days.

Faulty Items
Customers are entitled to a full refund for any faulty goods up to 30 days after purchasing.

Please contact us on including as much information as possible regarding the fault including images and your original order number.

A member of the team will then be in touch to explain how to return your item.

Received one of our products as a present and would like to return/exchange?
Please email us at to begin the process. You will need to provide the name and email address of the person who bought the gift for you. Please note if the item ordered for you is from our non-refundable range or a bespoke item we will be unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Return postage costs
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Sale items
Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless they are faulty. Any items bought using discount codes will be refunded with the price paid for the item.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund to your original payment method (the one you made your purchase from) within 28 days of returning your item, please contact us at
